The Canadian Parrot Conference is very happy to announce that the 2010 Pennies4Parrots Challenge which benefits Parrot International’s Slender-billed Conure project in Chile, South America, raised a total of $2,200!!

A huge thank you goes out to this year’s participants – Durham Avicultural Society (Ontario), Golden Triangle Parrot Club (Ontario) and the Calgary Parrot Club (Alberta). Your club members are to be commended for their enthusiasm and active participation in the challenge. It just goes to show how a collection of “pennies” can quickly add up!
