Dr. Robin Lane

Dr. Lane has been working at the Animal Hospital of High Park since 1994. He previously owned and worked at Campus Estates Animal Hospital in Guelph, as well as the Genetic Diagnostic Company at AVI Diagnostics. He was the original co-director of OVC’s Wild Bird Clinic. Dr. Lane has a BSc AgR, and DVM and is an Avian Board Certified Veterinary Practitioner, re-certified in 2004.

Dr. Lane’s interests include genetics, laboratory diagnostics, overseas ministries and gardening. He hopes to be involved in water projects overseas, and fund clinical research in various psittacine and other non-domestic companion animals. He has 2 grown children, Jen and Chris, and previously bred rabbits, parrots and finches. He was also the proud former owner of a 17 year old dog named Lucy and 4 very independent cats.
