Two of the Golden Triangle Parrot Club’s newer club members have been dropping their pennies into a Texas Mickey (101 ounces/3 litre) bottle for some time now. They were unable to attend the GTPC’s Festival of Parrots due to work commitments, but took the time to drop by and donate the proceeds for their FULL Texas Mickey to the 2009 Pennies4Parrots Challenge. Let me tell you it weighed a ton!!!! Our club treasurer had the pleasure of counting and rolling all the contents! A huge thanks to Mike and Joanna for this very generous donation to our fund raising campaign. Your bottle will be returned so you can start on the next challenge.
