To personally participate in the 2009 Pennies4Parrots challenge two of the Golden Triangle Parrot Club’s members held a yard sale at their home. It was a great way to clear out the cupboards, closets, basement and garage of unused “stuff” that was just sitting around collecting dust. They had so much stuff they had to start setting up at 6 AM (yawn!). Nothing was priced at the yard sale, they just asked folks to make offers. When the day was finished they had made a nice profit from their odds and ends and donated a portion of the proceeds to Pennies4Parrots. Special thanks to Allan and Suzan for this generous donation.
